Right from the Start: Creating Confident Young Riders

Are you a horseman or horsewoman that wants to share your love of horses with your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, or other children in your life?
Then Right from the Start is for you.
Hi, I'm Chevy. I'm a lifelong horsewoman, and mom to two boys ages 3 and 5.
I'll admit, once my boys were old enough to sit in the saddle with me, I thought it would be easy. I thought we could ride together, explore the trails, and check cattle. I figured it would be simple to teach my boys to ride-after all, I used to teach riding lessons to kids!
Boy, was I ever wrong!
Riding with little kids is no picnic. Along the way I have learned a few things-most of them are things that I wish I had known sooner! That is what I am putting together in the Right from the Start program. Topics like tack hacks and tips to make riding more comfortable for little kids and their horses, to riding exercises and activities to build up confidence in young riders, and advice from one busy mom to another.
The Right from the Start program is a work in progress, so I am looking for other horse parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to join this group and provide feedback. I need your help. As I am creating the materials for this program, I would greatly appreciate your input what topics you want more help with, and your feedback and opinions.
If you can help me out, please enter your name and email, and you will get instant access to the current materials. Please check them out, then fill out the form at the bottom of the page with your comments.
